Google Images

Google Images is the standard way to find images on the web.  Be aware that these images may be under copyright, so they should be used only for non-commercial purposes, and still need to be cited accordingly. is a search engine which searches Flickr for images that are available under a Creative Commons license, meaning that they have been labeled for reuse as long as the author is attributed (aka cited) accordingly.


Wikimedia Commons

Wikimedia Commons is a free media repository where items such as image, music, and video files are placed for use.  All items have no copyright restrictions but must still be cited accordingly.
