Ellis Island Online

If you're searching for a relative who may have immigrated to the US, Ellis Island has made its records available online through this service. Searching is free but will require creation of an account.

Missouri Digital Heritage

This is the Missouri State Library's online collection. To search, type a last name or full name in the search box at the top of the page. This will retrieve a comprehensive set of birth and death certificates for Missouri citizens prior to 1950.

National Archives Databases

The National Archives has a wide range of searchable materials available online, including military records, passenger lists from immigration ships, and much more. To search, try entering a last name into the search box.
